Unmanned driving is regarded as one of the signs of artificial intelligence, and it is an inevitable trend of the development of intelligent transportation in the future. The State Key Laboratory of the Smart City Internet of Things at the University of Macau is actively conducting research on driverless technology, and the research has also been funded by the Special Fundamental Research and Development Program of Artificial Intelligence of the Macau Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT). On May 15, 2020, the project team convened the second quarterly meeting online via video. The meeting attracted cooperation partners Baidu, China National University of Defense Technology, Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenzhen Hailiang Technology Company and University of Macau Nearly 60 representatives from China participated. Among them, Hailiang Technology shared with the participants the situation of the unmanned bus that will land on the campus of the University of Macau.
