Research in CAIR is highly interdisciplinary across all faculties at UM. The main tasks of artificial intelligence in entertainment can be divided into four categories: (1)From AlphaGo to Man-Machine Texas Porker Competition, (2)Human behavior analysis, depression analysis (social science), (3)Multimedia-based entertainment: tech + visual art, (4)Data security and GDPR. Constructing the intelligent mechanism of tying information security to customers’ trust model which is tied with customer loyalty.

 

AI for Portuguese Business

The main tasks of artificial intelligence in portuguese business include: (1)Current Work: UM-CAT platform to assist professionals in handling large amount of Chinese-Portuguese-English translation tasks, (2)Our Opportunities: Improving UM-CAT for Cooperation with CPLP(Community of Portuguese Language Countries) along  OBOR “One belt, One Road” etc.

 

AI for Health

The main tasks of artificial intelligence in health can be divided into three categories: (1)Medicine Research: Deploying AI system to better mine medicine data, (2)Diagnosis & Treatment : Medical image analysis, integratingmedical treatments with smart diagnosing and auxiliary learning system, (3)Healthcare: Monitoring the life cycle of health management.

 

AI for Law Study along “One Belt One Road”

The main tasks of artificial intelligence in health can be divided into four categories: (1)Document Reviewing. Developing AI-powered system improving the efficiency of document analysis for legal use and machines can review documents and flag them as relevant to a particular case, (2)Conduct due diligence.  Supporting professionals to uncover background information through confirming facts and figures and prior cases, (3)Contact analysis. Assisting strenuous  analysis of  contracts in bulk as well as individual contracts, (4)Cooperation with FACULTY of LAW of UM.

 

AI Robotics

Artificial Intelligence or AI gives robots a computer vision to navigate, sense and calculate their reaction accordingly. Robots learn to perform their tasks from humans through machine learning which again is a part of computer programming and AI.
